water content from 30-80% depending on the plastic from which
they are made.
Disposable
Lenses - Are a convenient and healthy option for wearers.
Disposable lenses range from single use to 2-3 month replacement.
They are also available in colors.
Toric
Lenses - Are inflexible lenses that are smaller in diameter
than soft lenses. Vision can be sharper and clearer than with
soft lenses.
Tinted
- Both gas permeable and soft lenses are available with visibility
tints to make them easier to see while handling. Cosmetic
tints can be used to change your eye color.
Bifocal/Progressive
- These lenses are available in gas permeable and soft contacts.
They can be worn as disposable, planned replacement and yearly
replacement.
