Iowa Eye Center participates in numerous medical insurance and
routine vision plans.
Listed
below are a few of the major health plans that
we are providers for:

Vision Service Plan

We will gladly file insurance claims with the information
provided by your current insurance card.
Although we are happy to assist you with general insurance
questions we cannot answer plan specific questions. If
you have a question about your particular coverage and
benefits please contact your insurance company directly as
they are the best resource for information on you specific
plan.
We
will ask for payment of co-pays and non-covered services at
the time of your visit.
Routine eye exams and
refractions are usually not covered by most medical insurance
plans but you may have routine vision coverage under a
separate plan. Many routine vision carriers require
prior authorization of services. Please let us know if
you have routine vision coverage when you call to schedule
your appointment.
Cosmetic surgery is not
usually covered by insurance and we will ask for payment prior
to scheduling these services.
Payment may be made
by cash, check or credit card.
